Our Passionate Team
At Skyhawks Contra Costa/North Alameda, our management and coaching team are the heart of our success. Led by our owner and CEO, Billy Goldstein (aka Coach Billy Bob), who has been with Skyhawks since 2010, our team is dedicated to providing top-notch youth sports experiences. Our General Manager, Lyndsey Park, has been a cornerstone of our organization since 2012, working her way up from Coach Billy Bob’s assistant coach to her current role of running all in-season sports operations. Our Area Directors, Karly Fountain and Danielle Land, bring a wealth of experience and in-person support to ensure our programs are always improving. Our coaches, including full-time directors and passionate college interns from our TEAM Internship Program, are committed to turning their coaching skills into lifelong careers.

Comprehensive Coach Training
Our training protocol kicks off with an intensive training week designed to equip coaches with the necessary skills and knowledge. This is followed by a 5-week introductory period where new coaches receive hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals. To ensure our coaches stay at the top of their game, we offer seasonal continued education sessions led by our owner/CEO, Billy Goldstein.
What sets Skyhawks programs apart is simple: our exceptional staff. Our staff is our greatest asset, which is why we dedicate resources to developing them into career-oriented professional coaches. Coaching is an art that requires time and dedication to master. To ensure this, we employ full-time directors who are committed to transforming their coaching and leadership skills into lifelong careers. By retaining our staff for longer periods, we are able to implement our comprehensive continued education programs that have successfully nurtured some of the finest youth sports coaches in the Bay Area.
Our ongoing education includes workshops, seminars, and practical sessions that cover the latest coaching techniques, safety protocols, and child development theories. This continuous learning approach ensures that our coaches are always prepared to provide the highest quality of instruction.

T.E.A.M. Internship Program
Another key to our staffing success is our partnership with California Premier Sports, which enables us to offer the T.E.A.M. Internship program for passionate college students eager to embark on careers in coaching, teaching, leadership, entrepreneurship, and sports management. California Premier Sports, a California Public Charity dedicated to the promotion of youth athletics, was founded by our owner and CEO, Billy Goldstein, with the mission of fostering youth sports growth and development by nurturing the next generation of coaches and industry leaders. Our dedicated seasonal internship works closely with our owner and CEO to master advanced leadership skills that they actively apply on the field and court at Skyhawks programs.
