Description:
GAME ON GIRLS! Since 2020, Flag Football is one of the fastest growing sports in women’s athletics. Skyhawks is leading the charge to get more girls on the gridiron through our all-girls flag football camps, clinics, and leagues. Skyhawks has partnered with California Premier Football to create the ultimate full-day Flag Football camp experience for girls ages 8-14. From 9am-12pm, players will split into circuit groups based on age, ability, and friend requests, to develop their skills through a series of interactive drills, skill reinforcement games, and Skyhawks original competitions. AM skill development objectives include passing technique, catching technique, rushing technique, route running, flag pulling, agility, and confidence. After lunch, the camp transforms into team play with offensive/defensive install practices and an exciting round-robin tournament that allows girls to showcase their new skills through PLAY! PM skill development objectives include offensive gameplay (positions, formations, route combinations, play-calls, and playbook theory), defensive gameplay (positions, pre-snap alignments, zone coverages, play-calls, and playbook theory), game strategy, teamwork, passion, integrity, and sportsmanship. Our expert staff and age-appropriate curriculum allows players of all abilities to develop at their own pace with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun!
